6.4 miles roundtrip | 1,500 ft elevation gain

The last 17 miles of driving to get here are on a dirt road and very bumpy and slow (expect 30 to 35 mph). Having a high clearance vehicle is preferable but not absolutely necessary.

This hike is in Mount Rainier National Park and ~1.5 hours from SEA airport
Cascade Pass.

At 3.7 miles & 1700 ft elevation gain stop at Cascade Pass or continue on to Sahale Glacier at 5.7 miles and 4000ft of elevation gain. In my opinion, enjoy the view at ~4.5 miles and turn around.

The final 13 miles of the drive are on a compacted dirt and gravel road. You will have no problems in a low clearance vehicle.
