Top Three Hikes

||

The 3 day-hikes below are my favorite in Patagonia! Check out the photos and videos to discover which hike is best for you.

Mirador Condor.

Option one

+ Additional Info
  • Link to trailhead click here
  • 1.43 miles roundtrip | 629 ft elevation gain
  • This hike is super short but well worth it! The wind was INSANE the day we went (20-50mph) which I hear can be pretty common. We even had trouble walking on the narrow trail which made it fun!
  • This hike is in Torres Del Paine National Park Chile

Laguna Torre.

option Two

+ Additional Info
  • Link to trailhead click here
  • 12.5 miles roundtrip | 1700 ft elevation gain
  • I don't think the glacier lake at the end of the hike is that impressive. The views along the way are well worth it but you could stop at any point before the final glacier lake and be happy.
  • This hike is in Los Glaciares National Park outside of Chaltén, Argentina

Laguna De Los Tres.

Option Three

+ Additional Info
  • Link to trailhead click here
  • 13 miles round trip | 3,100 ft elevation gain
  • This hike can be quite taxing. The first 5 miles are pretty reasonable but the last 1 mile to 1.5 miles are basically straight up the mountain! Bring plenty of water and layers for inclement weather.
  • This hike is in Los Glaciares National Park outside of Chaltén, Argentina

Torres Del Paine - Lake Pehoe
OPTION ONE
Lake Pehoe
Boardwalk

At a glance:

  • This boardwalk is connected to a hotel but open to the public

  • I think it's one of the best views in the park and is a short walk from the parking lot

  • *Google Link for parking*

Mirador Salte
Grande + Cuernos
OPTION TWO

At a glance:

  • Mirador Salte: Beautiful waterfall view

  • Mirador Cuernos: Hike past Mirador Salte by adding a ~4 mile flat hike for more amazing views of Lake Pehoe and the mountains of Torres Del Paine

  • *Google Link*

OPTION THREE
Perito Moreno
Glacier

At a glance:

  • A UNESCO heritage site this massive glacier is a must-see. If you catch it on a warm day you can spot massive blocks of ice thundering into the water below
